9:16. ಯೋರಾವುನು ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. ಯೇಹು ರಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು. ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಹಜ್ಯನೂ ಯೋರಾವುನನ್ನು ನೋಡಲು ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದನು.

9:16. ಆಗ ಯೇಹುವು -- ನಿಮಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಾದರೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಇದನ್ನು ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಲು ಪಟ್ಟಣ ದಿಂದ ಯಾರೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೊರಡದೆ ಇರಲಿ ಅಂದನು. ಯೇಹುವು ರಥದ ಮೇಲೆ ಏರಿ ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಯೋರಾಮನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದನು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೋರಾಮನನ್ನು ನೋಡು ವದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಹಜ್ಯನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದನು.

9:16. Jehu drove his chariot to Jezreel, for Joram was recuperating there. (Now King Ahaziah of Judah had come down to visit Joram.)
